Since October 2017 Andreea Pal is the CEO of Fraport Brasil in charge of the airports Fortaleza and Porto Alegre.
She has been since 2010 the Deputy General Director in charge of finance and IT of Northern Capital Gateway, the company operating Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg, Russia. The company completed successfully an investment program in amount of 1.2 bil EUR.
As Managing Director of Dorsch Gruppe she was before responsible for the divisions Water and Environment, Transport and Infrastructure, Airports, Structural Engineering and Industrial Plants of the Dorsch Gruppe, one of the largest German independent engineering consultant
Ms. Pal has acquired extensive experience in the infrastructure development as the Senior Vice President of Global Investments and Management division of Fraport AG between 2001 and 2009. She was in charge of managing a portfolio of more than twenty companies with a yearly revenue of 700 mil EUR. She was in the executive board of several airports in Europe, Asia and South America.
Prior to this Andreea Pal was Vice-president of the Multi-Utility Centre RWE AG in Essen, Chief Technology Officer of TESSAG in Frankfurt and Head of Lahmeyer Energy Solutions in Frankfurt and in charge of investments in power infrastructure in Germany and Europe.
Andreea Pal holds a Master of Science degree in energy engineering.
Airbus
Arturo Barreira was appointed President of Airbus Latin America and Caribbean Region in July 2018, bringing more than 20 years of global aviation leadership experience to the post. In this capacity, Arturo is responsible for all Airbus’ commercial activities and customer relations in over 40 countries, for the three Airbus divisions, Commercial Aircraft, Defence and Space and Helicopters.
As a leading member of the Latin America and Caribbean Sales Team that has booked record-breaking orders for the last 10 years, Barreira has driven the success of Airbus’ regional commercial aviation sales division, cementing its place as the market leader in the region. In 2012, Arturo was appointed Vice President of Sales for Latin America and the Caribbean, responsible for building relationships with potential customers, generating and tracking purchase orders and placement of aircraft with local airlines in the region. He previously held the position of Regional Sales Director since 2005.
A native of Madrid, Spain, Arturo received a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Aeronáuticos de la Universidad Politécnica and amaster’s degree in business administration from ICADE Instituto de Postgrado de la Universidad Pontifícia Comillas.
Arturo began his career in 1996 at the airport operator AENA (Spanish Airports and Air Navigation) in the area of Corporate Development. A year later he joined Airbus as Customer Marketing Manager for Western Europe. In 2002 he became Senior Financial Risk Manager. From 2003 to 2005 he took over as Marketing Director for Airbus in the Middle East.
Arturo continues to grow in his career and has attended various air transport courses at Cranfield University in London and IATA Learning Center in Geneva.
Arturo is married and has a daughter. He speaks fluent Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, playing golf and soccer, and loves to travel and read.

Dr. Charles E. Schlumberger, a Swiss national, is the Lead Air Transport Specialist of the World Bank in Washington DC. In this function he is responsible for the Bank’s policy and development priorities in the field of air transportation. He supervises or participates directly in several air transport projects globally, which range from air transport infrastructure financing, air carrier restructuring and/or privatization, air transport safety and security projects, and air transport policy advice to governments.
Prior to his appointment to the World Bank in 1998, Dr. Schlumberger has held the position of Vice-President at Union Bank of Switzerland, responsible for international credit restructuring. Prior to his activities in financial institutions, he was the CEO of a Logistics and Transport Group in France, and worked as a lawyer on aviation related matters in Switzerland.
Dr. Schlumberger graduated in 1986 with a Law Degree from Basel Law School, focusing on Aviation Law and Bankruptcy Procedures. He further holds an MBA from Harvard Business School in Boston, USA, and received a degree of Doctor of Civil Law from the Institute of Air and Space Law of McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is also an active FAA and EASA licensed pilot and certified flight instructor, and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Currently leading the Office responsible for building capacity of the South American Countries to comply with the International Civil Aviation Organization´s provisions and to develop their aviation system as means for their socioeconomic progress.
He served as Head of the Airport Infrastructure Department at the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and as Chief Advisor to the Board of Directors. Previously, he was the Airport Management Director at the Secretariat of Civil Aviation of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil. He also has held the position of Facilitation Technical Manager at ANAC and also served as Manager in the Ministry of Defense´s Civil Aviation Bureau.
He has also performed in leadership positions to develop and promote integrated transportation planning and road safety projects in Brazil.

Gilberto Salcedo is Vice President of Tourism at ProColombia, an entity in charge of promoting Colombia as an attractive, responsible, sustainable and high-quality destination, with enriching and unique experiences to offer.
Salcedo is a lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá and a specialist in public management from the same institution. For 4 years he was president of the Air Transport Association in Colombia, an entity that brings together more than 95% of the country’s air traffic, where he represented the airlines on the Board of Directors of the Tourism Fund of Colombia, FONTUR. Today he does the same on behalf of ProColombia.
With more than 18 years of experience in the public and private sector, working in tourism, air transport, foreign relations and information and communication technologies, in April of this year he was recognized by the World Travel and Tourism Council as a top performer of the tourism industry on a global scale for his leadership in the plan to reactivate tourism in Colombia.

Henrik is an economist by training and holds degrees from Tallinn Technical University and Aarhus University in Denmark.
He held various positions in the Estonian Government Office between 1995 and 2004. He was mainly responsible for coordinating the work for the Estonian accession to the European Union. In 2001-2002, he was Minister of Economy.

Iberia
Graduate in Economics and Business from Complutense University and in Aeronautical Engineering from Politécnica University in Madrid, Javier later underwent an Executive Development Programme from ESADE business school.
He has been serving as Iberia’s Chairman and CEO since September 2020. Before joining Iberia he worked at Indra Group and Uralita Building Materials Group in the engineering and Strategic Planning departments resepctively and parent companies Air Nostrum Iberia Express y Vueling.

John Rodgerson is the CEO of Azul Brazilian Airlines. He started the company in 2008 and was a key driver of its development over the last 10 years. Under the leadership of David Neeleman and John Rodgerson, Azul has become the largest airline in Brazil by number of cities, serving more than 130 destinations in the country. With over US$2.5 billion in annual revenue and more than 13,000 crewmembers, Azul has been rated by Trip Advisor as the best airline in the world.
John played a key role in developing Azul’s original business plan, its strong corporate culture, and differentiated customer experience. Prior to becoming Azul’s CEO in 2017, John was the airline´s CFO, responsible for raising over US$ 1 billion in capital and leading its IPO, with simultaneous listings at the New York Stock Exchange and the São Paulo Exchange. John has been living in Brazil for the past 12 years, and besides his busy schedule as Azul’s CEO he volunteers as an English teacher. He is happily married with Brooke and together they have three sons.

Jose Freig is Vice President of International, where he leads American’s international airport operations and Premium Guest Services.
Previously, he served as Managing Director of Latin America and Caribbean Operations, where he oversaw airport operations in more than 80 destinations throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.
Prior to that role, Jose was Managing Director of International Government Affairs and Chief Security Officer for American, where he was responsible for the airline’s domestic and international security programs, investigations and operations security and regulatory compliance. In that role, Jose also managed American’s relationship with foreign governments and represented the airline’s interests and priorities before agencies under the Department of Homeland Security, including the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Jose began his airline career in 1997 at America West Airlines in Tucson, Arizona. In 2008, he served as the Area Director of West Region for Siemens Government Technologies in Phoenix, as the security technology and screening liaison to TSA, CBP, Department of State, airport authorities and original equipment manufacturers.
He is on the board of directors for Hostage US and is a member of the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association, Homeland Security Experts Group and U.S. Department of State Overseas Security Advisory Council.

Julio Gamero se incorporó a TAG en 2020 como CEO. Cuenta con 20 años de experiencia en gestión de aerolíneas, en 5 países. Ocupó los cargos de Vicepresidente Regional y Vicepresidente de Unidades de Negocio en AVIANCA, así como Presidente Ejecutivo de Aerolíneas Galápagos (Aerogal) en Ecuador. Landon Loomis was appointed Boeing vice president for Latin America & Caribbean in August 2021, expanding his previous role as vice president for Global Policy and managing director for Boeing Brazil, assumed in August 2020. He is based in São Paulo and reports to Sir Michael Arthur, president of Boeing International.
As vice president for Latin America, Caribbean & managing director of Boeing Brazil, Loomis is responsible for leading company strategy, developing business and industrial partnerships, and expanding stakeholder relationships across the 33 countries of the region. In his role as vice president for Global Policy, Loomis coordinates non-U.S. government affairs and policy work, including geopolitical analysis to support international sales campaigns and business growth initiatives. Loomis joined Boeing in September 2019 as the senior director for Trade and Alliances on the Embraer Partnership team. Prior to joining Boeing, Loomis served in the White House as a special adviser to Vice President Mike Pence from April 2017 to August 2019, responsible for strategy, analysis and implementation of the vice president’s engagement with the Western Hemisphere, international economic and trade policy issues.
Loomis has also served in various U.S. government roles, including policy adviser in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and commercial attaché at the U.S. embassies in Beijing and Brasília. He has resided in and worked in 10 countries in Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe. Loomis has a master’s degree in international economics and is fluent in four languages: English, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish.

Rafael Echevarne is the Director General of Airports Council International – Latin America and the Caribbean (ACILAC). Previously he was CEO of Montego Bay Airport, Jamaica, and held positions in international organizations and airport companies in Europe, Australasia and the Middle East, specialising in airport economic regulation, privatisation and infrastructure and business development.
Rafael holds a PhD in Air Transport Economics from Cranfield University, UK.

FAA
Steve Dickson was sworn in as the FAA administrator for a five-year term on August 12, 2019, after being confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
At the FAA, Administrator Dickson has been staunch advocate for safety, global leadership, operational excellence, and the health, welfare and evolution of the FAA’s workforce.
Before coming to the FAA, Dickson spent nearly three decades at Delta Air Lines, retiring as the senior vice president of flight operations. In this role, he was responsible for the safety and operational performance of global flight operations, as well as pilot training, crew resources, crew scheduling, and regulatory compliance. During his career, he flew the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 727, 737, 757, and 767. Captain Dickson previously served as chairman of several industry stakeholder groups and federal advisory committees.
Dickson is a distinguished graduate of the Class of 1979 at the United States Air Force Academy. He graduated from Georgia State University College of Law, magna cum laude. While on active duty, he flew the T-38 Talon supersonic jet trainer and F-15 Eagle fighter jet.
